Your Man on The Ground at PAX 2007
Yesterday I received my three day pass to Penny Arcade Expo 2007 in the mail. I've been reading the Penny Arcade comic for years and I've been kicking myself for not going to any of the past conventions.
I am going to be going to all three days and providing around the clock coverage this August 24, 25, and 26th at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.
There are several thousand photos of previous PAXes on Flickr.
My main going is to see Wil Wheaton (That's Mr. Wesley Crusher to you) and get him to sign my laptop, DS or something. There is going to be some great music acts as well as over 45 videogame companies lining up to show their wares in a massive festival of Geekness. Check out the map (PDF Link)

I may not have gone to E3 or CES but darn it I will be going to PAX this year!

I'll be uber jealous if you get Mr Wheaton to sign something. Almost makes me wanna ship something to you delibrately just to get it signed as well. :p

Well if you want to send that would be cool.
He is a keynote speaker but I am not sure if I am going to get to talk to him or anything since there is going to be thousands of nerds there.
