Xbox Job Posting Hints at Wiimote Clone
Microsoft listed a job posting a few months ago at Excell.com that hints at the motion sensing controller.
It read:
Electrical Engineer Focused Hardware Test Engineer
OVERVIEW:
For this position, you will bring your electrical engineering-focused Hardware Test experience to this world-renowned software company. You will be responsible for RF test tools and test execution, audio testing, Rumble, LED, Batteries and Power, motion validation, and electrical stress
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years related work experience
• Experience with audio testing
• Experience with motion control, accelerometer instrumentation, and gyroscopes
• Excellent Electrical Engineering skills
• Knowledge of RF protocols and testing
• Knowledge of Agency, Safety, and Compliance issues
• Familiar with battery power requirements and concerns
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• LabVIEW or C++ programming skills are a plus
Hum I wonder if that would be for the motion sensor controller?
