Would You Read 8bitjoystick.com Cat News?
Today I downloaded the program Comic Life!. This is a sweet Macintosh application that is based around creating comic strips from digital photos. It is really fun and easy to use and really powerful. It is free to use for thirty days and the program is only $30 so I am so going to register it. It has perfect iPhoto integration and I am totally down with that.
Now I have a crazy idea and I don't know if it is an awesome crazy idea or totally crazy idea that is just plain nuts and lame. I think it might be cool to make a comic strip about video games and nerd stuff using Comic Life! but instead of drawing a comic I would use digital pictures of my cats. I mean I have a digital camera and I have like a thousand pictures of the cats so I think it would be cool to have them have a videogame news comic strip sort of like Domo-kun News or the RSS puppet news on Jet Set Show.
So what do you think? Is this a stupid yet cool idea or a super mega lame idea? Would you read a 8bitjoystick.com Cat News comic? I know that is stupid but I would totally read that if someone else did it? What do you think?

I don't think it's one of the greatest to be honest Jake... not everyone likes cats after all and it's kind've cheesy...
Not that I'm saying I personally dislike cats, as I don't.

I think it would be a cool idea if the cats ended up actually saying something useful part of the time. Sure it could be funny, but maybe chuck in some small game review stuff. One cat could love a game and list the highlights while one lists what it didnt like about the game?

Well I would only do one or two comics a week and I would not stop the normal articles just to do cat comics. That is crazy talk. The comics would be about nerd stuff so games, DVDs that sort of goodness.

That sounds good, but I don't think you should limit it to just cats all the time. Use any photo you want.

Right I was also thinking about using action figures and other stuff. Damn BBQ I should come over and take pictures off all your vast action figure goodness. That is tons and tons of potential raw comic material.

Instead of Cat comics, I think it would be funner if you incorperated that into your reviews. Like say, your review of Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. Your cats could have commentary on the artical.

I think its pretty funny, mostly because of the cat with its tounge out sayin Xbox is dope lol, thats great.
