Where to buy NeoGeo Pocket Games
The re-released pack of games for the NeoGeo Pocket Color is quite a score but there is a handfull of games that I would like to get my hands on for the little SNK system. I think it is sweet that there are some games still on the market and I am going to order these this week before some other new NeoGeo Pocket owners have my same idea and beat me to the punch.
I would rather order from an established online retailer than the eBay crapshoot.
From Lik-Sang the master Hong Kong Videogame dealer who is occasionally sued for selling black market items.
Metal Slug 2nd Mission Japanese Version
$19.90
Gals Fighters Japanese Version
$19.90
And from Video Game Depot the very reliable kick-ass California based importer who hooked me up with some import Dreamcast games.
SNK vs. Capcom Card Clash SNK
$35.00
Then there is eBay but I have never bought or sold anything on eBay and I tend to avoid it if I can.
There is not a massive library of games for the NeoGeo Pocket but there is enough fun ones to make owning one worth while. I would much rather have a NeoGeo Pocket with 10 games than a $300 Nokia N-Gage or a $400 Tapwave Helix Game PDA or a $400 Phantom game console.
I hope Ian let's me borrow his NeoGeo Pocket to Dreamcast link cable. I still can't get over how much fun the Super Deformed fighting games are.

I've ordered from every place imaginable, but I avoid Video Game Depot. They sell black market knockoffs of game and anime soundtracks without labels of any kind about their authenticity and that's a no no to me.
Lik Sang is a bit slimey, but they're rock-solid reliable (except for that brief period where they were shut down, and even then no orders were lost).
Just steer clear of Buy Rite whenever possible. They have good sales from time to time, but by and large they're overpriced and downright sleazy.

Really I got my copy of King of Fighters 2001 Dreamcast from Videogame Depot and Penny-Arcade thinks highly of them.

If you're talking about the whole GBA deal with Lik Sang, thats crap cause all they were doing was selling a PC card reader and blank cards. Its not their fault that it was being used for illegitamate purposes. I even know people who used it to program games for the GBA, so its not like it was all illegal uses that came out of it. But besides that I know nothing about Lik Sang's dealings.

No we were not talking about them but actual NeoGeo Pocket carts.

I'm glad to see you guys are fans of the NGPC.
Another good place to buy the system and games is on the forums of www.neo-geo.com which I included in my URL.
