What I've Been Playing for February 8th. 2008
I've been playing my new TurboExpress and have been enjoying :
Ninja Spirit
Bonk's Revenge
Neotopia
and
Legendary Axe
I found a place that acutally had an AC adapter for the TurboExpress and I ordered it. That is very fortunate because it can go through six AA batteries in three hours. I have rechargeables but that's still nuts.
I moved my Wii up to the shelf next to the 360 and have been playing the TurboGrafx-16 games on it. I swear that TH-16 and Wii VC go together like peanut butter and jelly.
On the Wii I have been playing
Furu Furu Park (Cute, simple and fun)
and
No More Heroes. (Mind blowingly awesome)
On Xbox 360 I played that that new chess game on Xbox Live Arcade and I got schooled by a serious very chess dude.
Rez HD on Xbox Live arcade has given me a new appreciation for the game. I still have the PS2 version but it looks incredible in HD and widescreen.
Last weekend I found out that it was BBQ's birthday and he didn't really tell me with enough time so I whipped out Jean'de Arc for PSP and handed it to him. He loved Vandal Hearts and Final Fantasy Tactics so it would be right up his ally.
Now I have been trying to work out an interview with Donkey Kong and Pac-Man world champion Billy Mitchell and I left a message on his phone and I was awoken very early this morning by a message on my answering machine by none other than Billy Mitchell himself. I was able to pick up in time and get a few semi coherent words out. Billy is rocking the Eastern Time Zone in Florida and I think he realized that I was not firing on all cylinders this pre-dawn AM. He said he was trying to just leave a voice message and but I am going to try to get a hold of him later on this weekend and hopefully can have that interview soon.

I have to get my hands on another TurboGrafx-16. I love Bonk's Adventure and Splatterhouse. We should play some Puzzle Fighter some time on xbox Live.
