The Holiday Trip From Hell Part 1
I just had the holiday trip from hell. My car totally died on me outside of the middle of no where. I just got a new car and will write about this in detail tomorrow.

Did you buy a new FORD. Ford's love to break down. Anything else would be slander.
Sorry your car broke down. That always ruins a day.

No I got a 1997 Neon. I know it is not a perfect car but I think it will do what I need it to do.

That does suck to break down in the middle of nowhere. That's what happened to my Taurus back in the summer.
Hope that Neon is good for you - I had a '95 for a while and I loved mine. If nothing else you will love better gas mileage the Neon gets vs the Taurus.

Yeah, the Neon gets f*cking kickass gass mileage! I looked it up, it does better than most Hondas of the same curb wieght... Try not to get hit by an S.U.V. though...I wouldn't survive either in my mostly plastic Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo....DAMN! WE ARE SOOOOooo DEAD!!!!

Hey Pete,
Yes you could survive a hit by an SUV - while driving my Neon I got rear-ended by a HUGE white van (Ford) (I was at a stop and got hit by the van who was going 60 mph at the time). Granted my car was TOTALED, but I walked away. :oP

Actually Pete the National Highway Trafic Safety Administration gave the Neon four stars
