Gamerscore Blog : GamerDad Makes His Mark on Xbox.com
Microsofts new collum's name "Gamerdad" writing over on Xbox.com is blatently taken without permission or compensation from Gamerdad.com. That is so un-cool.
Update: It looks like Microsoft got the drift and changed the name of it to "Xbox Dad".

DS controls Pokemon Battle Revolution - Nintendo Wii Fanboy
That is freaking cool. I could see there being some really cool wireless linking of the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS. They could use the DSs wireless network boot feature to work as a remote control for a DS game. In a game like Pokemon this would be awesome. I could see wireless linking of the DS to the Wii as a killer application and to sell lots of games for both systems.

At least Sony is steping up to the plate in advertising to Gay people in general with the Playstation. A lot of companies just don't take gay gamers seriously. Like Blizzard.

Yeah but it was a Sony UK ad not in the US. Advertising and putting people in games is a totally different thing. Of the top of my head I can’t think of any positive gay characters in modern games except for The Sims.

I'm talking mostly about WoW and their weird anti-discrimination policies that are practically discriminatory.
Also here's some food for thought: http://gaygamer.net/index.php?id=1632
Actually, as far as gay characters go, there is The Sims. But, there is also Fable, you can be gay or bi in the game if you'd like. It even has gay marriage. The Sims 2 has gay marriage as well. And in Bully there are some boys you can kiss with your male character as well.
I think we'll see more and more gay friendliness as time goes on in gaming. Well with developers at least, not so much the players. Mostly because of a growing amount of gay guys and gals who are open about their gaming.

Well can you have guilds in WOW that are connected to other real world groups? Like on racial, location, political, religious factors?
I read gaygamer.net in my RSS reader and think it is a great site.

Yeah, aparently you can make a Christian group. That's okay. But, advertise yourself as LGBTQ friendly and it's an issue, because there's the chance that people could harass a member because they are part of that group.

Well that sucks.
