GamePolitics.com : Prez Candidate Romney: Violent Video Games in Cultural Cesspool

"Pornography and violence poison our music and movies and TV and video games. The Virginia Tech shooter, like the Columbine shooters before him, had drunk from this cesspool."
Presidential Candidate - Mitt Romney

I wasn't going to vote for him before but I am pretty sure he does not have my vote now. So let me get this straight. Mitt Romney is for continuing US involvement the Iraq war and he fully supports sending more people over to fight, kill and die but he finds fake violence in video games obscene while no one physically gets hurt. Despite the fact that violence is an indispensable part of world wide popular entertainment in thousands of form of creative media and has been for centuries. Oh yeah and the Virginia Tech killer did not own any video games! But that beside the point because according to Mitt and Joe Lieberman. Iraq War good.. Halo bad… Yeah… that makes total sense.

So what is Hillary Clinton and Joe Lieberman's stance on our esteemed hobby?

Posted by: Boyd at May 9, 2007 12:39 PM

The answer is not to listen to music, or watch movies or TV, or play any video games. It's very simple. Just play golf!

Oh I think you know that.
Joe Lieberman is still both for the war and against violent video games.
Senator Clinton is against violent video game but against the War in Iraq.
