Tasty Links for December 5th 2006
This past weekend I took my Wii over to BBQs place and a good time was had by all. The Wii has a lot of cords for a wireless system.
It is a pain in the ass to hook up a Wii to the Internet using Mac OSX to share a Internet connection via Wifi. I have only gotten it to work once and I could not get it to work over at BBQ's place. You have to do some Unix commands and do some manual DNS number settings. Also if you plug the Wii into a cable modem via the USB ports it can't get on the net. The "Wired Connection" setting only works via the Nintendo USB/ Ethernet Wired adapter that they are not selling yet.
So we decided to put off downloading Golden Axe and played some competitive Mario Bros. and Bomberman 93 on the Wii VC. Mario Bros. is a lot more fun if you try to kill each other by pushing them into the turtles. It is sort of Mario deathmatch.
My next game review will be published in the December 14th issue of The Stranger. It is going to be Zeldatastic.

So long "next-gen," and good riddance
I have never really like the term "Next gen". I mean the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii are not "Next Gen" anymore since they are real and on sale now. Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, PSOne, Saturn, Dreamcast and N-64 were all once called "Next Gen" systems
