Tasty Links for April 28 2005

Jimmy Dean Breakfast LinksI thought it was about time that I shared some links to websites that I have been frequenting and enjoying as of late. Enjoy and y'all come back now ye hear?

Sploid
Sploid is a juicy headline blog that has extra spoonfuls of hype. Drudge and his ilk are so 1990s and Sploid delivers that sleaze and media exploitation that you just crave for some time.

NeoOffice.org
NeoOffice is my favorite way to get my OpenOffice.org fix on Mac OSX. I am just a freak about my quality open source applications. I just don't know what is up with the sailing ship logo.

LifeHacker.com
Lifehacker is a groovy collection of hints, tips and tricks but without all the Martha Stewart crafts. It is sort of like Better Homes and Gardens for internet nerds.

DailySonic.com
DailySonic is what a good Podcast show should be. Heck it is what internet radio should be and what regular radio should be. It is like NPR except it is not stuffy and boring and they have great music and since it is the Internet they can say "fuck" if they want to. I saw this advertised on Diesel Sweeties and it is a joy to listen to.

Seattlest
It is like the Gothamist but with more rain and coffee. Not as cool as The Stranger but it is getting there.

IDrewThis.org
A political web cartoonist that I really really click with. Hell I even sort of dress like him.

iPodLounge.com
A site for those of use who medicinally need our iPod on a daily basis or we start to go into shock.

TUAW.com
The Unofficial Apple Weblog is my daily fix of all things Macintosh related. Plus they linked to my site and wrote a post about me.

A Single Man's Guide to TV Dinners
I don't really eat TV dinner much but this site is like looking at a crashed car at the side of the road. You are not proud but you can't turn away.

Google Maps
Hot dog on a Stick this is one heck of a cool online mapping application. I see that Google spent that IPO loot on hiring some very smart web developers.

The Sitayana by Nina Paley
Totally awesome animated short films about Indian Folk Lore.

The Comment Spam in Dave Barry's Official Weblog
I can't stand Dave Barry but it tickles me to no end to see that his Blog is completely infested with comment spam.

The Intense Photoblogging of the China Japan Protests on ZiBoy.com
Wow. This guy deserves a job as a professional photo journalist. Check out the posts in April 05.
