Elgato Turbo.264 Media Encoding Accelerator Review
A USB thingies that radically accelerates the process of compressing h.264 movies. I might have to get one of these suckers. But the entire concept of a hardware accelerator for a software app seems so 1990s. This might be a good upgrade for my PowerPC G4 based iBook and it could come in handy for making video podcasts and video files for my 360.
Update: I saw this podcast and ordered one from Amazon.com

virtua fighter 5 isn't getting online because it has a huge arcade scene in japan and japanese players would rather play there, face to face, than on the internet.
