Super Nintendo Entertainment System Games That I Can't Wait to get on the Wii VC.
The Super Nintendo/Super Famicom had some completely awesome games and it was almost the perfect system for 2d games. However going over the big lists of US SNES games I am sort of taken back by the shear number of crappy and mediocre game that were made for the SNES. Hopefully Nintendo will be a bit discriminating in picking SNES game to release on the Wii. Since they charge eight bucks for a SNES game downloading them can add up to real money a lot faster. The SNES could have graphics and animation that was as good as Arcade games at the time. Of course that was back when there was still arcades in the US and I am still waiting for my SNES CD-Rom.
Here is my list of the top Five Super Nintendo games I want to see on the Wii VC
1. Earthworm Jim
This game is creative, fun and had great animation, music and characters
2. Axelay
A really cool looking space ship shooter made by Konami
3. Cybernator
One of the best 2d Action games involving giant robots.
4. U.N. Squadron
A really good "Spaceship" shooter based on an arcade game that was based on the Manga series "Area 88"
5. Super Mario Kart
The first and classic Mario Kart game. I still think it has the best two player versus contest.
The other SNES games that I can't wait to see on the Wii VC are:
ActRaiser
Axelay
Chrono Trigger
ClayFighter
Cybernator
Demon's Crest
EarthBound
Earthworm Jim
Earthworm Jim 2
Final Fight
Final Fight 2

The Genesis version of Earthworm Jim had an extra level, hopefully they will have that version. Ys III was one of the weakest entries, so how come it is the most widely available? I, II, IV, and to a slightly lesser extent VI are where it's at.
