So what are your Halo 3 Launch Plans!?
Someone asked what are my Halo 3 launch plans? Well I did not preorder it since I am sure that there will be plenty printed this year. It is 9:00 PM on the west coast and I could either drive north Poulsbo and camp out until Midnight at the 24 hour Wal-Mart there or I could get up early and go to my local Fred Meyers and purchase it when they open at 7 am. Regardless I have to work all day and I'll probably not get a chance to play it until after I get home from work on the 25th. Both morally and politically I have a bunch of issues shopping at Wal-Mart and I think I would rather get up early or just take my chances finding it at a store
You know i am betting that a copy of Halo 3 will not be hard to find later on this week since Microsoft printing a copy of it is pretty much a license to print money. I mean I like Halo but I am not a Halo psychopath. I know it's going to be great but I am not going to be going to extremes to get a copy of the standard edition.. that's right I don't care about paying a bunch extra for a plastic helmet regardless about how shiny it is. It's not an extra controller and the game is just as fun as the regular priced normal version.
So tonight I am going to go play some PSP and Xbox and then go to bed early and pick it up before work tomorrow and then play it all tomorrow night.

In NZ, they had the worldwide launch at 1am our time nationwide. Microsoft had some weird events where they froze Halo 3 merchandise in a ton of ice and gave gamers water pistols to melt it and get the stuff. Some of the stores were giving away LCD keyrings that flashed the logo.
Interestingly enough, there's already reports of the Collectors Edition discs being scratched upon arrival or being out of the case altogether ( http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee148/doublebagger/crap02.jpg ).
