Severus Snape is a Goth

I just finished the latest Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I sort of consider these as light hearted entertainment and they are quite habit forming.

I know it is not serious literature but it is still more fun than watching most of the crap that they show on TV these days. I actually can't wait for the last chapter and get closure. I mean I have a pretty good idea what the last chapter is going to turn out.

It is rather hard to read a book that has had memorable movies made and envision your own versions of the characters and visuals with out being over powered by the theatrical versions. My version of Severus Snape looks like Trent Reznor with a goatee instead of Alan Rickman.

The entire thing make me want to re-read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I took the cover off so I could read it in public with out blowing my hipster cool but I am afraid I am a little bit far gone to be considered any time of cool.

Isn't the hardcover underneith purple and black. I took the cover off so I wouldn't tear it. And I hated the ending of this book. So many loose ends. That seventh book is going to be a kick.

Thanks

Just tear the cover off an Xbox magazine and put that around it. Then everyone will think you're cool.

( http://www.livejournal.com/users/neodragonstar/106718.html#cutid1 ) for a parody of the ending to book 7.

The book has two very different covers in Britain. My sister grabbed herself the "adult"-cover version while over there.
