Update: Tonight I got my ass on a ferry and went over to Seattle to attend the Seattle Blog Metup for June. It was once again at the Bauhaus Cafe on Capital Hill. This was the biggest meeting of bloggers so far and it was really fun. It is fascinating to see people in person and see how it affects how they write.

The cafe was full of Gen-X with laptops ( my kind of people )and Wifi Cards and there were more people with laptops than kids with paper notebooks penning grunge lyrics and bad poetry. Some one needs to do a case study to see how free WiFi is helping their business survive from the major Starbucks about half a block away.

What did I learn? Bringing a laptop is good. Playing DVDs on the laptop is distracting.

Oh a non-related note I sent an email to uptight PC pundant John Dvorak. It was about his Jason Blair style reporting on BoingBoing.net that a diet with tofu causes "bitch tits" in men. I actually got an email back from him and he said that he did not want to discuss it with me and claimed that the Chinese do not eat Soybeans?!?!?? But he emailed me even though he did not want to discuss it.

I am going to Nebraska for the rest of this week so I may not update this site regularly until Monday.
