Run don't walk. Firefox 1.5 is out!
The Mozilla Corporation/Organization released Mozilla Firefox version 1.5 today.
This is a major update. It features faster browsing, a new preference interface, a new update system, advanced Mac OS X support, SVG support and it is clearly the best damn web browser out there. I have been using the Release Candidates for a while now and am quite pleased.
I love Firefox and it is my default internet experience. When I think of the internet I think of Firefox. You owe it to yourself to download Firefox 1.5 now.

Upgraded mine yesterday. Is it me or did it get even faster on pageloads?

It does seem faster... but it also locks up a helluva lot more than it did before. And I mean HARD LOCK up where I gotta powercycle to get out of it.

Well what kind of other crap and what OS are you running Dunsany? I use Firefox on Mac OSX and Windows XP with no problems.

Dunsany: Sounds more like a graphics driver bug or some other thing.. I've been running Firefox since it wasn't even called that, and it has never crashed my system...
