Sony announced version 2.60 firmware for the Japanese PSP today.
-Addition of RSS channel
-Addition of Volume Adjustment for the location free player
-Addition of Simplified Chinese(GB18030) and Traditional Chinese(Big5) in the internet browser
-The ability to directly download media files from the internet browser to the memory stick
-Windows Media Audio can now play WMA9 Professional & WMA9 Lossless format files
-Copyrighted WMA files require an option to be turned on in the system settings to be played, however, this requires the PSP to be connected to the internet first
The US and EU version will be out soon. I will be upgrading to the US version as soon as it is is released.
The RSS support sounds freaking awesome! Can you say PSP Video Blogcasting? I knew you could.
