Review : Starbucks Frappuchino Bottled Coffee Drink
The Starbucks Frappuchino Bottled Coffee Drink is actually more a sugar drink than a coffee drink. It is sweet and smooth but it does not have the caffeine kick and acidity of the Doubleshot. I mean don't get me wrong you can still get a coffee buzz if you drink enough of these but it is more from sugar than caffeine. It is sort of if you took a Starbucks Doubleshot and mixed it with a bottle of milk and a pound of pure refined sugar.
I have to wonder if Starbucks is targeting women in their marketing. This is sort of the "Girl Drink" of coffee drinks. It tastes more like sugary milk than coffee black as night and serious as a heart attack.
It is not bad just not to my tastes. I am going to get some Boss Coffee from Japan next time I am in Seattle.

it's waaaaaaay too sweet for my taste...though just about right in proportions of milk/cream to coffee...but i'm twisted like that, ya know...

Definitely not up to the quality of the double-shot. You're right - the frappucino has WAY too much sugar. And the low-fat version is even worse. Ugh. I've started making my own double-shots at home. If you have an espresso machine, the ratio I've found that works best is 2 shots of espresso to 3 shots cream. Silky and smooth.

I think if there ever was a "girl drink" of the coffee world it would be those tazo berry and cream things that starbucks sells... don't get me wrong i love the coffee giant, i proudly pledge my alligence to the caffine pimps..I am a corporate coffee whore!

Starbucks coffe because they are everywhere in Seattle so i dont have to worry about being more than a block away from a good cup of JOE no matter where I am in Seattle....**shudder from caffeine withdrawl**

Despite Starbucks HQ being a local business to me I prefer the Japanese canned coffee. Calm down. Carroll I am a Democrat who voted for Gore and does not drive an SUV or own a gun. I am not one of the ugly Americans.

My boyfriend loves these. You're right though, they're not coffee as much as sugar drinks. But I disagree about marketing for girls as they are primarily directed at urbanite college students who don't know their milk from coffee and beer from piss.
I wouldn't say it's marketing for girls. I'd say it's marketing for pussies.
As for Starbucks ... they charge so much because they give all their employees health care ... part time and full time. You can't say that about most megacorporations. Their CEO was a piss poor Jersey kid, don't hate them just because they're popular. There are so many open everywhere because demand is high. Blame the demand side, not supply.
As for Eurotrash: about 80% of Americans aren't SUV-driving pigs or whatever the hell your problem is. But I can say for certain that you are an ignorant piece of shit.
