Yesterday I put reserved a Gameboy Advance SP at my local Gamestop for $25 down and I will be taking advantage of an offer where you can trade in your Gameboy Advance for $40 towards a GBA SP before the 15th.
This week I have been enjoying playing an NeoGeo Pocket Emulator called Neo Pop. It is the first constantly updated NeoGeo Pocket emulator that has perfect sound, a good interface, speed and almost perfect compatibility. For those of you don't know what the NeoGeo Pocket was it was a ill fated Gameboy Color competitor that had moderate success in Japan and almost no success in the US. The NGP was a 16-bit system and was more powerful than the Gameboy Color but nowhere near the power of the Gameboy Advance. If I ever come across a good unit with some games I will be sure to pick it up but in the mean time I am glad that it can be emulated. SNK is out of business and none of these software and hardware products are being made so it is a grey area ethically.
Any way. The game that I can't stop playing is SNK vs Capcom : The Match of the Millennium for NeoGeo Pocket.
This game is cute and fun and sports some really surprisingly addictive rich gameplay. This game came out in 1999 as part of the alliance between SNK and Capcom. The gameplay is sort of a combination Pocket Fighter and King of Fighters. The animation is awesome and cute but the game is hindered by the small color pallet of the hardware. The music is possible but the sound effects are great and sound just right.
VideogameDepot.com has new NeoGeo Pockets for $50and I just might bite the bullet and order a real one and some games just to have for the hell of it.
I wish that Playmore and Capcom would resurrect this game for Gameboy Advance.
If you see a copy of this game jump and get this rare but totally fun gem.

Wanna know the best part? If you've got an NG Pocket with SNK vs. Capcom and hook it up to a Dreamcast running Capcom vs. SNK, it automatically unlocks EVERYTHING in the NG Pocket version and transfers all the points you've earned to the Dreamcast game. A reward for waiting, I guess (I think there was a year or more between the NGP and DC versions).
Now if I can only find a copy of the game. a Neo Geo Pocket Color and a Link Cable.
