Review: PS2 Pad to Gamecube Adaptor
I picked this up the same day I got my Gamecube for 13 bucks and it works perfectly. It is an adaptor that lets you use any Sony Playstation compatible controller on the Nintendo Gamecube. I have some nice PS based fighting sticks and should I get a Gamecube game that would benefit from a good old fashion joystick I have this bad boy. You just plug the thing in and power on the Gamecube. No software or configuration. The only real problem comes from the pressures sensitive trigger buttons on the top of the Gamecube are have a harder spring in them with a greater range of movement so you really have more to press to click them to 100% pressure but the PS2 pad seems to go almost to 100% with the lightest touch. Even vibration worked fine. It is cheaper than getting a Gamecube pad. But it works and you can play Mario Sunshine or Smash Bros with a PS2 Pad. If I were to get Capcom Vs SNK2 EO this would be a must.
Games that benefit from this: Capcom vs SNK 2 EO
9 out of 10 Works damn well and is cheap!
