I was in the market for a second Xbox gamepad so I decided on a Pelican accessories AfterGlow Pro for Xbox gamepad. I already have a Pelican Afterglow controller for Gamecube and I have been pretty happy about it.
The biggest thing about this gamepad is that the plastic case is transparent and there are two bright green LED lights inside it. When you plug it in it glows with a very dope Xbox green and it looks pretty good in total darkness or low lighting. This does not serve a real function but it is fun and that is the point of playing video games in the first place. It is supposed to be all about the fun. The Pelican logo lights up and shifts color over time.
The over all design is quite similar to the Xbox Controller S but with some notable differences. There is some rubber grips on the sides and the Black and White buttons are both next to the right analog stick but on top of the controller as digital buttons next to the trigger analog buttons. This is pretty nice and it makes games like Doom 3 on Xbox much easier since you need to hit the white button to switch from flashlight to gun and I keep hitting the black button and bring up the PDA when a zombie hellspawn jumps out at me in the darkness but since the AfterGlow Pro black and white buttons are also on a better place on top of the controller I can take that demon punk out and make him my beyotch. Also thanks to the glow in the dark brilliance I am not quite as scared in the dark and I am now 30% more Xbox dope since my hands are glowing green when I play it Xbox style. This is a pretty good choice for a Xbox gamepad and it is a ten spot cheaper than a Controller S. It still looks like a prop from Tron and every techno listening raver gamer should have one for no other reason than shear dorkatude.

Word that is dope I straight up gotsta git me one of those HELLA pronto! Peace out dawg!
PS Does it feel like you're holdin' somethin'?
It is no where near as dope as the first Xbox controllor. That thing actually made you taller by just holding it.
