Last Friday I realised I haven't seen a movie in a theater in a long time so I went and saw the new Harry Potter flick. It was pleasant but not that innovative or extra creative. It seamed fast but then again the kids in the theater loved it so what do I know? I really have a hard time coming up with things to say about it. It has about the same cast and crew and was a decent translation of the book but it did seem a bit fast and abridged. I wish were not so hell bent on keeping the film under 90 minutes.
This movie seamed to omit a bit more than the first movie. But it was a good popcorn movie but I wouldn't press yourself to face the crowds of kids and parents to go and see it.
If you haven't seen a movie in the theater in a long time, I strongly recommend you go see Jackass. It is the funniest movie I have seen in years. Hilarious, yet more clever than you might expect. I have also heard a rumor that it will not be released on video.

still haven't seen the first one...guess i'll wait for all of them to come out and then rent them on DVD! :-)
Well that should take a decade. There are going to be 7 books and 7
movies and she is finishing up the 5th book. I reccomend starting with
the first book then renting the first movie. It is alot of fun
