Review: Frito Lay Munchies

Chairman Kaga of Iron Chef with MunchiesFrito Lay makes a snack product called Munchies. I shit you not. I guess they are going after the lucrative stoner market. Now this product has to had less design time for it's basic concept than Vanilla Coke.

What Munchies is composed of is equal parts Sun Chips, small Doritos, Cheetos and Pretzels and guess what it is really forking tasty. The cheesiness of the Doritos and Cheatos is offset with the saltness of the pretzels and Sun Chips to create a crunchy addictive concoction worthy of Morimoto the Iron Chef. I will bet you $20 that these are produced in the same damn factories as it's components. Sure you can probably make this yourself but 7-11 sell it in just the right amount 8 ounce bags.. now that even sounds drug related.

Chronic related snacking aside Anna can vouch for the surprising pleasurable experience that is Frito Lay munchies. I think it would be good with a nice Heffewizen beer and a funny Kung Fu movie.

9 out of 10 Damn Fine Snacking!

mmmm... I love the Munchies... Hubby got a bag of them about a month ago... he had the same thought on the marketing idea also. ;o)

Well I wasn't implying anything but you did agree that they were tasty and marketed at stoners. Sorry about that.

HEY! I like Vanilla Coke ... actually the Diet Vanilla Coke is better because it doesn't taste quite so sugary.

I like Vanilla Coke too but it has been served for over a hundred years before Coke decided to make it an official product. My mom went on an on about the malt shops of the 50s. I was knocking the originality not the drink... uh.. I hate diet pop.. I don't see the point.

well guess what? you owe me $20, i work for frito-lay at the factory that makes munchies, and the components are made by two different factories and shipped to us to put it together, just thought you should know that

I prefer the Flamin' Hot® flavor of Frito Lay Munchies™ Brand. They are very lovely tasting. Spicy.
