Review: Burger King Veggie Burger

BK Veggie BurgerI have been taken by madness and I will now go eat a BK Veggie Burger and write a review of it for you all.

Check out the disclaimer on their web site.

Burger King Corporation makes no claim that the BK VEGGIE™ Burger or any other of its products meets the requirements of a vegan or vegetarian diet. SO FUCK YOU PETA!
I just made up the last part

Now on with the review

I actually tried the BK Veggie burger with an open mind and a hungry mouth and I wasn't disappointed. It was about what I had expected and it was pretty tasty. It wasn't as sinfully good as a Dick's Burger or a prime high quality beefy burger but it was a lot lower on the fat and way lower on the calories and if you really didn't pay close attention you really don't notice the difference. I think the think that makes it different and tasty is the mayo that they put on it. It keeps the burger from getting too dry and having too low of a fat and salt content.

It is really obvious that they did not design this to appease the vegetarians and the Vegans but they wanted to have something on the menu that was a lot healthier than what Mc Donalds was offering. Since I had to pay for a lot of dental work out of my pocket I ordered a orange juice instead of a soda. I guess a vegetarian and vegan fast food would have to come from a new fast food joint that served nothing but meatless food. It really makes me wonder that no one has tried to make a vegetarian fast food chain at least in a market that would support it like California. Perhaps there is but I don't know about it.

With Mc Donalds getting sued for a shake down by a group of Hindu lawyers in Seattle, The book Fast Food Nation becoming a best seller and Subway making fat profits by selling a low fat image I see the reason that Burger King wanted a low fat burger.

I liked it but I am not going to have it every day but it did satisfy a craving for fast food. It is sort of like a cold-turkey patch for fried beef. A bit different but still tasty

Veggie burgers are pretty nasty in general, but for someone who doesn't eat a lot of red meat, it's refreshing that I can go to a place like BK and get a burger. And if made right, BK's is pretty good. I've had some that are nasty, but others that are yummy.

So do you think the fried greasy grey crap you get at mc donalds is real pure beef? Ever think what is in that shit?

I've had one of these before...they're ok. I am much happier with my Boca Burgers...they are more realistically meaty-tasting.

OK i didnt read this until just now. I like the boca burgers too. they are quite tasty indeed. but what is really good is morningstar farms corndogs.....they absolutely taste real! and they smell great after being bombarded with microwave energy....unlike my cat.

Boca burgers are nothing compared to Veggie Patch - You haven't tried nothing yet! And Burger Kings Veggie's are nothing compared to Harvey's - McDonalds makes the worst ones by far!

For any one who thinks that burgerking is crap, I so agree with you, Mc'Donalds is well good, they offer healther options in food to, ther food dosent flop unlike burgerkings burgers

Mc Donalds does not offer healther options. Even their salads are not that good for you. Eating lots of McDonalds is a sure fire way to a fat ass and a heart attack

I really like the Burger King Veggie burger.

It's now 2006 and all I can find on the internet are stories about the Burger King Veggie burger from 2002.

Is it the same veggie, because the one I have had recently is very good.
