Fable 2 for Xbox 360 looked so darn good that and I saw so much awesomeness in it that I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked with it at PAX and searched out new unknown games. I don't really know how to accurately explain it but from the time that I did spend watching it, playing it and talking to a dude from Lionhead I sort of mentally checked off a list of things in a game that I wanted in it and I achieved a sense of confidence that what I saw was good and that it was going to be worth my time, money and attention when the game is out this fall. I sort of get the same feeling from Street Fighter IV and Gears of War 2. It is sort of an internal dialog that says "Oh! Of course that is going to be super sweet".
Actually the best information that I got about Fable 2 was after I played Rock Band 2 on stage at the Microsoft booth I noticed that there was these two dudes playing same screen co-op that were glued to the Fable 2 demo before I got on stage and they were still glued it when I was done singing and generally making an idiot of myself in front of a large group of people. The combat is extremely fluid and feels natural. They really pulled off the one button combat idea and the player felt responsive without getting completely canned. The game is lush, detailed and fan-freaking-tastic looking with an immersion prone world quality that has never really been reached by any game before it. The co-op game play felt great and completely worked. I don't think this is just going to be just like the first Fable game but with better graphics but it is going to be one of the defining moments of this generation of video games.

Jealous of you.. and everyone else that has had the pleasure of touching Fable 2.
You don't realize how many of the people I know over the Internet kinda are like... Weirded out that I want Fable 2 so badly and are kind of berating my taste in games.
I didn't think the first one was bad, but with what they've shown of Fable 2 it looks like a more complete game than the first. As well as more defined in what it can do with the power of the system it's on.
The fact it has co-op is a huge plus, assuming I can find someone to play it with.
