Sega just announced that Yuji Naka and his Sonic Team are working on a new platform action game for the Nintendo Gamecube
New game is going called Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg and is the first 100% new platform game since Nights.. Well Nights is not a really a platformer game but you know what I mean.
The game is going to be a fast paced bright colorfull action game. It looks like you can collect Eggs and hatches them to solve puzzles so I really hope that it will be more action and less "Chao" raising. I mean if I really liked it I would get a Tamagotchi. Sounds just what Sonic Team is good at. Also here is hoping for a new Sonic game sometime soon and I really really wish that they would remake Nights on a new system. That is it.. tonight I am going to warm up my Saturn and play Nights. Also here is hoping to more Samba De Amingo.
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg will be out third quarter of 2003 on Gamecube only.

Wow Nintendo sold 4.2 Million copies of the new Pokemon games in Japan during 2003. The second best selling game in Japan last month was Final Fantasy X-2 and that only sold 1.7 million copies. So Japan still can not catch them all and Nintendo is now issuing a press statement to all the other game publishers asking them if they like these apples. (not really about the press statements but that would be cool)
