EB and EBGames.com has a bunch of brand new NeoGeo Pocket Colors that are being sold by a company who got them in bulk and are liquidating them. You should stop by them NOW and get one while you can.

For a mere 80 bucks you get
a NeoGeo Pocket Color
a Set of batteries including the clock battery
Pac-Man
Turf Masters
King of Fighters R2
Fatal Fury First Contact
Samurai Shodown 2
Metal Slug First Mission
They also had an additional 4 pack of games for $40 that include
Puzzle Bobble
Last Blade
Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket
SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium
These are on a one-time basis and once they are gone they are "gone for good". There are not being any new games made for the system and once these are all sold they only way you can play these games are either in emulation or pay an arm and a leg on eBay.
For $120 you can walk away with a kick ass game system and ten of the best games for it. I will write a detailed review Monday night but right now I am going to enjoy my new NeoGeo Pocket Color!

WOOOO HAAAA!!!
YA TAH!!

Oh I did not need to hear this... :( I've been eyeing up one of these babies at a local used game shop for a while now but I haven't been able to bring myself to cough up the dough. This is a much better deal but I still shouldn't be dropping the 120 bucks right now... AARRGGHH!! Damn you Jake!
:D
oooh! i always play as Chun-Li!! :D hehe...pretty sweet stuff up there...:)
Hmmm...very interesting. I don't really need to be coughing up that much money right now either, but that is a very good deal.
Aw, damn it all to hell...Why, oh why, did you have to bring this to my attention??? I'm still trying to save up enough money to buy Ikaruga for the GameCube and R-Type Final for the PS2...Old school shooter action for the new world order.
But now, now I have something even greater to aspire to...Crap. Now, only one question really remains. How am I going to convince my wife to let me get it??? ;)
Laura Croft is a nasty skank. Chun-Li will allways be the real queen of videogames
Well you could luck out and have them all sold out. I got the last one at the store in downtown Seattle.
BTW I would just like to point out that $120 for a NeoGeo Pocket and 10 games is about a third the cost of a Nokia N-Gage and one game.
Ya, I ordered one online. Whenever I really want something but my conscience won't let me go to a store and buy it, I let my fingers do the walking. Let my conscience be damned! Seriously though, thanks for bringing this up. All this would have cost me double at a used store or on ebay or at VideoGameDepot. Now I just need to find a deal on a WonderSwan and GP32... :)
You know the WonderSwan Color and the GP32 never had the games to get me excited. The GP32 is damn impressive and it would be cool if it was translated into english and released in the US. I have all the Gamegear Sonic Games and just need to get an AC adapter for my Gamegear and NGP. THe Gamegear is still a power hog and the NGP is a power miser on rechargable AAs. I want to find a copy of SNK Gal Fighters and Metal Slug 2nd for NGP.
Yup Videogame Depot still has NGP stuff.

I ordered import games from them before and I was very pleased.
The Guilty Gear and particularly the Gundam series make me want to check out the WonderSwan but I agree, there's not much on the GP32 in the way of games. It's a damn nifty piece of hardware though (I believe it's an open development platform even). Ya, the Gamegear was a battery eater! I only played that plugged into the wall. I'm eyeing up Metal Slug 2 also. Now I'm wondering if the GBA afterburner could work in the NGP... hmmm...
I dunno.. the GP32 sounds more like a PDA. I would not open up a NeoGeo Pocket but it has a really good screen that seems alot more visible in normal light than the first Gameboy Advance.
I never had one of these. What makes it better than the dusty Sega Nomad in my closet? That portable plays all Genesis games.
Or is it that the NeoGeo has a better selection?
Just wondering...
Hey Promo I would love to get a Sega Nomad.. they are hard to find. The NeoGeo Pocket is smaller and it has a diffrent set of games. The Nomad had no origional games but I think a portable Genesis is a great idea.
UPDATE:
Found this system bundle with the 4 game expansion pak's for MUCH CHEAPER!:
http://www.gameliquidation.com has the 6 game bundle for $62.50 SHIPPED FREE, and the 4 Pak expansion sets are $33.50 (TWO DIFFERENT FLAVORS!)
So for $95 you get a new NeoGeo Pocket system, batteries, 10 GAMES. P.S. I have bought one of these kick a$$ systems and the batteries last about 40 hours on two AA's :)
I noticed that at EB these packages have dropped in price since the original post $59.99 for the Neo+6 games, and $19.99 for the 4 pack of games. Although the pack EB has is different than the 2 4 packs Gameliquidation.com has above (except they all seem to have Sonic).
I almost wet myself when I saw this thing in EB Games during a stop on my long drive from home to school last fall. So worth the 120 bucks, though my copy of Samurai Shodown 2 for no apparent reason crashes my system and wipes the settings out. Think I'll give it to someone I hate.
I dunno it never crashed on me.
