I have a guilty confession to make.
I like listenting to T.A.T.U. in Russian.
I am convinced that they are my generation's ABBA.
Yes I know they are pure marketing hype and they are probably not queer and I know they are about as artistic as the Spice Girls but it is is still happy fun european techno.
Just like ABBA was in the 70s there were millions of fans but they are probably not too proud to have their albums in their music collections.
HAHAHAH! Good reference. I have never listened to them but I'm willing to check out this taboo.

I have no problem admiting that I'm a huge fan of ABBA. Xanadu was one of my favorite movies as a little kid. There's nothing wrong with a little slice of sugary pop now and then as long as you can recognize that's all it is.
It is a good band but honestly I think it is better in russian than in english.
