Minidisc Cases Rock for PSP UMDs

Neo Uses MinidiscsI realized a very cool little PSP lifehack this week.

Back before my iPod days I had a Sony Minidisc and the plastic minidisc cases that a five pack of blank minidiscs came in are totally awesome to store PSP games.

They are sturdy, dust proof, water proof, snap shut and can hold six PSP UMD discs. Now I can have them in my bag and not worry about my games getting dusty or scratched.

One of the big things about owning a PSP is the convenience of being able to enjoy a good game at the girlfriend's place when she is watching some lame ass TV comedy that was written to a third grade level or a cheesy "reality" show. I can have my PSP and my games in my bag and have some serious gaming regardless of where I plant my ass. My PS2 on the other hand is always at my place and is tied to my TV and couch.

Forget keeping your PSP UMDs in an Altoids tin. If you see blank Minidisc five packs you might just want to get them for the very cool case for your PSP UMD discs. But on the other hand it does not give them the minty fresh smell of the Nintendo Tin full of DS games.

The cases are water proof??? Damn, thats impressive. I wouldn't think a MD case would have an airtight seal. I can't get my mind off the shotty GameBoy cases.

Well perhaps not waterproof if you were going to dunk them into something but I would have no problem having them getting rained on.
