Mini Review : Super Mario Bros Deluxe for Gameboy Color

Super Mario Bros DeluxeIt is Super Mario Bros time Everybody, Oh YEAH!

Back in 1999 Nintendo released their classic game on the Gameboy color. It was a very good port despite some cropping of the screen. They also included a save game feature, network play with a link cable and un-lockable graphics for the Gameboy printer.

While this game is not going to win any awards for graphics in 2003 all the fun and game play is still there. This is a great pick for those gamers who first played it back in 1985 or who do not remember the 80s. I am surprised how well this game holds up and the fact that in fifteen years I still remember where the hidden coins and warp zones are.

This game is one of Shigeru Miyamoto's greatest and every Nintendo fan should have it in their library.

i lost my virginity listening to the music from super mario bros.

We have multiple copies of this game, it's great! The GameBoy advance is a great platform to play these classics.

i love Super Mario Bros!!!! :D

Ported games are great, but you can't beat the original software running on the original hardware. If you want to play it for real, get a NES and SMB off eBay. Nothing can compare - not even ports!!
