Lou Dobbs Tonight on CNN just reported that Disney is looking to open an animation studio in India so they can outsource what remaining 2D animation jobs they have left. Their TV animation is already outsourced to Korea and there is only one feature film animation division left at Disney.
Disney Corp. explores India as production base
It feels wierd to be the last generation of Americans to enjoy 2d Disney animation made in this country.
Here is to hoping that Roy can Save Disney.

I don't remember where I read it, but someone wrote that Disney just doesn't get it -- it's not that 3D (Pixar) is killing 2D animation... the problem is that Pixar's original stories are far better than Disney using old fairly tales. Disney needs to realize that they have alot of talented people already, and they should simply look for srtory tellers.
