Nintendo reported their worldwide wide sales numbers via Gamasutra.com
Their profits are down 45% due to the Gamecube price cut but then again Microsoft has yet to post ANY profit from the Xbox division so far.
Other items of note:
A total of 6.68 million GameCubes have been sold since the launch last November, compared to 41.6 million PS2s and 3.9 million Xbox consoles.
Humm that is almost twice as much as Xbox.
20.2 million Gamecube titles were sold during the period.
I loves my Mario and Animal Crossing.
Sales of GBA games rose 13%, reaching 21.4 million units.
Just think of how many copies of Pokemon they are going to sell. Not to mention they have 100% of the handheld market share. I mean what else is out there besides the GBA? Cell phone games?
