Penny Arcade has really made me smile today with his cynical look at Apple"s Switch Campaign. I used to be a 14 year long Mac user but switched to Windows 2k but now sorta regret it and plan on switching back and getting an iBook next year when I get my tax return. Why I am going back to Mac. One word Palladium, This just sucks ass. I have no desire to pay for a big brother enabled piece of Nazi ware. All I need is Macromedia MX Studio and I will be happy never owning a PC ever again.

Palladium: Safe or Security Flaw?
What"s Palladium? Depending on who you ask, it"s either a catalyst to turn silicon into gold for the PC industry, or it"s the stuff the black helicopters are made of.

I think I'm going to be sticking with Windows 2000 for the next ten years. I didn't switch from Windows 95 till Microsoft got off their ass and stopped making worse more crash prone versions (e.g. windows 98, 98:SE, ME) and actually built a damn stable OS: Windows 2000 Pro.
Then they went and screwed that up with XP.
Meanwhile I had to have my PowerBook Titanium upgraded to MacOS X for a project and now I'm stuck with it. I miss the MacOS so much. I'm hoping they'll make this work more like the MacOS when they release X 10.2, but I seriously doubt Steve Jobs would remove the doc and make this stupid thing work like the MacOS.
I actually went with Win2k Because I got sick of waiting for Mac OS X. I think it looks sweet now and dock smock I want an iBook running Mac OS X with a Carbon Photoshop and Macromedia MX studio. that would be better than some sex.
