Kupo! Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is out! Kupo!
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is finally out in the US. I got my copy last night and will have a review post haste. It is very very good so all you Squaresoft addicts should take note.

That is the latest version of a moogle. Whomever the current artist for Square is has bastardized the most loveable character in all Square games. :(

Bastardized?
Remember that Final Fantasy has a continuity of elements to change over time. The first time I ran into Moogles was in Final Fantasy Adventure for the /Game Boy/. You know, the grey thing with the red buttons and the green screen? I bought mine in 1993 and I still have the thing. It works too. And I can still play Final Fantasy Adventure. Moogle was a status anomoly akin to /frog/. Frankly, I don't see what's wrong with these moogles, they have just been stylized a bit.
I have the game, and so far, I have enjoyed every minute of it. :)
And judging from the art style I would guess it's based off of something of Amanos, assuming it's not his work outright.

Aghhh the moogle. I love these little guys. I have MOG in Final Fantasy V. He's dance attack is pretty usefull. I have the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game. I have uhhh three I think. Not sure. Anyways, the art. Very well done. I for some reason or another never fell into the whole white...thing... with a big red nose and bobble. Oh well.
