Kitties Against LCD TVs
My girlfriend's cat Desi has real issues with my dreams of getting a multifunction LCD monitor with a TV tuner. Desi loves jumping on top of TVs and looking at us as we watch a DVD or something. As long as he keeps his tail out of the screen and as long as he does not knock stuff over it is super cute. A flat screen LCD TV would leave more table space for the kitties to occupy but I doubt that even the nimble Desi could balance on the top of one.

Kymberly has a serious addiction to bad TV reality shows so I must whip out my laptop and headphones with a nice DVD or a ninja movie or something cool in order to keep my sanity and remain in the room. It is a freaking necessity when one's significant other is hooked on Big Brother and other televised drivel.
Why do so called "reality shows" have absolutely nothing to do with actual reality? It is sort of like why is easy-listening music so damn hard to listen to?
My birthday is roughly a month away so i can't make any fun purchases for myself that may or may not spoil potential birthday presents. So any DVDs or games that i want to buy must be vetted first. Such was the case of the 10th anniversary DVD of Clerks.
Bunch of savages in this town I swear to God.
BTW. That is the Reno 911! DVD set

I have never had much use for Reality Shows, personally. I don't watch a whole lot of television to begin with, but when I do I choose to watch something a little more stimulating in nature. But I know plenty who watch their reality shows as religiously as a soap opera. Which, to me, is basically what they are.

I don't like to admit it, but I sometimes I watch "reality TV" too. It's not so much that it's enjoyable, but sometimes I'm in the mood to watch some terrible, brainless show with stupid people. This mood often comes up when I'm eating. Since I prefer to eat and watch TV at the same time, I'd rather not have to think about what I'm watching. Lately though, I haven't found any reality show that has caught my attention, other than Queer Eye. So for now, I just eat and watch Three's Company.
BTW, Happy Early Birthday.
