Kakuto Chojin Sinner Repent!

Wow now I want to see if I can find a copy of the game while I still can just for the hell of it.

Microsoft's 3D fighter is pulled from store shelves. Via Gamespot
Kakuto Chojin, DreamFactory's Xbox fighting game, has been recalled from store shelves in Japan and North America. Microsoft of Japan has told several news outlets that the reason for the recall stems from religious references made throughout the game that could be seen as offensive.

Here is PennyArcade's take on it. They rock.

Yeah, I understand that Jesus is a playable character, but he can't kick or punch, simply forgives his opponent every time he's attacked, and even heals his enemy's wounds.

Well. I guess I should apologize for putting that game out on the shelves...Okay, maybe not. I'm thinking I may have to join you on this one, Jake. If we have more than one copy at the store I'll set it aside for you.

I already got one from my local Gamestop. The workers there have yet to hear about it So I got mine and I will give a report about the blasphemy.

I think one of the guys calls Jesus "Queer"

Yeah, I wasn't at work tonight, so when I called you had already been there. Man you work fast.

You truly are a soldier for being willing to play through such an apparently awful game for the sake of research. Saves me the trouble. I'm looking forward to seeing what the foofaraw is about. Jesus is pretty queer, I mean, he walks on water and stuff... oh... I see.

Jesus's use of style sheets is quite impressive though.....you have to admit that at least. Hey Jake here is an article for you that is completely un-related.........
