Javascript 99% Bad
Why do most web designers obsess over fining new and annoying uses for Javascript?
Some users will disable Javascript to stop stop popup ads. But you have to remember that it is not just people on PC or Macs using the Internet. Non-PC browsers like PDAs, Game systems and cell phones do not all have Javascript support and some text based browsers do not have Javascript support so if your site doesn't work with Javascript disabled then it will not be compatible on these systems. The W3C reccomends that you use Server-side methods to validate forms and that you make sure you can do most of the functions on you site without Javascript.
