Jake's Recipe for Italian Salad Dressing.
This recipe is as low fat as you want to make it giving the amount of oil that you use.
But here is how I like it. It is pretty simple and is hard to screw up.
4 Tablespoons. Extra Virgin Olive oil
4 Tablespoons. Cold Water
1 Tablespoons. Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoons. Basalmic Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Sugar
4 leaves crushed dried Basil or 1tablespoon. of the pre-crushed Basil
2 Teaspoons crushed dried Oregano
Mix in a small bowl or a dressing container. And serve over a bowl of nice greens. Or put it in a bowl and dip a good sourdough bread in it.

Jake, your recipe sounds delicious but does "T" stand for tablespoon? If so, what does "Tbs" and "Tbsp" stand for? Do they stand for teaspoon? or is everything a Tablespoon? Thanks.

T is tablespoon and the rest is teaspoon
actually it should be TSP= teaspoon
TBSP= tablespoon

I made your dressing tonight for guests, Jake, and they raved! First, I marinated artichoke hearts, chickpeas, black olives and mushrooms in it during the afternoon, and then I served it all over a mix of lettuce at dinner. Everyone asked for the recipe, and I sent them here. Thanks!

I still don't get it. Since T., Tbsp., and Tbs are all abbreviations for tablespoon, then all amounts above are in tablespoons, RIGHT? There are no TSP amounts in the recipe. I'd love to use this recipe but I just don't get it.

There I clearly wrote the measurements out. I guess this is why I am not working for Martha Stewart Magazine.
