I just do not believe Cosplay
Cosplay is a Japanese word for people who build elaborate costumes of their favorite Japanese Animation heroes. They then go to conventions dressed as them to try to impress each other.
You know dorks who dress up as Klingons and harass Wil Wheaton? That is sort of an American form of Cosplay. Same thing with the low rent midnight performances of Rocky Horror Picture Show with the costumes and the acting.
Now here is the strange part. You think that this would be a pure guy thing but it ends up it is a female dominated hobby Here are two links to ladies who love to sew costumes of a wide selection of Cosuplay.
I guess you can find anything on the net.
