How to Burn Xbox Games and Copy Protected CDs
By looking at my search engine hits I can tell that the one thing that dope pimps everywhere on the net want to know from me is "How to burn copy-protected games". I mean your average kid wants to know how to burn PS2 games, and how to burn Xbox games. That is a fact.
It is my duty to inform the public on how to correctly burn some copyrighted copy protected games.
I found out how to do this from this here 3l3t H4x0R site.
First you have to take the DVD that you want to burn and spit shine it so you can get it all ready to be burned.
Now it is a common misunderstanding that you need a CD-RW or a DVD-RW. Now that shit can be expensive and if you are too cheap to buy games then you are probably not going to pay for quality equipment so you have to improvise. Know what I am saying dogg?
I am using my Bling Bling Turbo Toaster with 256X Fire-Wire burning. Be careful to load the game into the read tray and insert a standard blank 700 Meg CD-R into the write tray.
Now then you kick it up to 11 and watch the BURNINATION.
You have to make sure that the drive is hot enough to burn it properly like Trogdor burninates the peasants.
Now if that is not fast enough you can use a tricked out microwave oven to burn a pirate CD game even faster. I am talking about almost real time burning.
There now we have successfully burned the games. Your average video game can cost around $3 Mil to design and program and then those greedy bastards have the nerve to charge $45!?! That is hhack! I mean it cost them a couple million bucks to make the game and you can burn it for free. Dumb game developers.
I mean you are cool and you totally deserve free games.

a microwave works just as well. burn a cd in less than 30 seconds!
Posted by: Faith at June 24, 2003 4:00 PM
Very funny, yeah, and too true. I'm about ready to trash my copy protected CDs and never buy another one after some of the stuff I have been reading lately about the nastiness that the copyright crusaders are doing. And I am really peeved off at Electronic Arts right now for a number of reasons having to do with the Sims.
Posted by: monde at June 24, 2003 5:32 PM
damn funny site! ROTFL!
Actually thought I was gonna' learn somethin' - right up to where you started with the toaster! HA!

um..It doesn't work, i tried it on 3 separate cds and the cd tray doesnt close... are you sure it can read a crackesd cd? i have a burner and tried the 3rd one in that....the drive read data but it came out in loops the program and crashed, so i had to clean the computer of all the little pieces. ive had to do this 3 times, please tell me what i am missing thanks.
Posted by: Jennifar barton at June 24, 2003 8:27 PM
You can also place them in the base of a medium-sized ashtray. Makes clean-up easy.

Great idea!!! To save even more , I burnt all my mates games to slices of cheap bread. Since I stole the loaf from my grandmother I must be like the best ever.

I just hope some dope doesn't actually insert a CD or DVD into a microwave oven and gets injured or sets the house on fire.
Other than that, GReAT stuff. :)
Posted by: FCC at June 25, 2003 9:24 AM
Well after the first second or so after the CD zaps and fries it is just cooking next to nothing. It is more likely to burn out your microwave if your run it with nothing in it but the fire hazard is pretty low

I guess I'm kinda a purist when it comes to Trogdor, but you know, he BURNINATES. I don't know what this "burnanate" thing is you're talking about. Next time you're talking about Trogdor, you gotta go to the Source, man. Awesome article though. Now I just gotta stop my little cousins from burning a copy of my CDs...
Posted by: Kin Tenshi at June 25, 2003 4:32 PM
That's dumb. You don't have to be a genius to know that this doesn't work. I'd like to see you try and make your "burned" CD or DVD work after using this dumb technique.
Posted by: VooDoo KnighT at June 25, 2003 5:16 PM
You don't have to be a genius to know that this is sarcasm.

Personally I find C4 to be most effective. 2-4 pounds is enough for a perfect burn and the explosion signalling the burn process is complete is a nice touch.

If you put your CD about 2 seconds in the microwave you get the exact same results PLUS a long term posibility of getting cancer!
Try it, you can actually see how those "breaking" marks get made.
CHEERS!
Bye
Posted by: SpiRiT21 at June 27, 2003 4:39 PM
Microwave radiation does not cause cancer. It causes damage to things that are in when it is on but once a microwave is off there is no real radiation. You get much more radiation from a TV or a day out in the sun. My dad is an atomic scientist.
