How I would improve the Wii if I ran Nintendo
If I ran Nintendo there would be a number of little things that I would change about the Wii that mostly have to do with the potential of the Wii Virtual Console and the online store.
1. Encourage and enable game developers to make unique downloadable titles using the on-line store. Geometry Wars on the Xbox Live Marketplace is pretty damn cool and there is no reason why Nintendo can't to the same thing using the Wii Store. The Wii is all about attracting new casual gamers and by having unique mini games available from the built in online store they could attract a whole bunch of attention.
2. Implement a software update to enable the use of the Wii Classic Controller to play Gamecube games. If you don't I'll just have to get a Wavebird.
3. Encourage and enable game developers to use the Wii Classic Controller or the Gamecube controller for certain games. There is no good reason that I can think of not to use the Classic Controller with games like Metal Slug Anthology and a Gamecube/Classic Controller mode would be awesome in games like The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess and Need for Speed : Carbon if they were optional.
4. Implement a software update that would allow downloaded software such as Virtual Console games to be run directly off a SD Storage card or a USB storage device such as a thumb drive or an iPod. This also would help SNK Playmore in making a NeoGeo emulator for the Wii VC and it would help Hudson with their development of adding TurboDuo games to the Wii VC.
5. Offer downloadable game demos and game trailers via the online store.
6. Kick up the number of available Virtual Console games by a factor of ten. There should be hundreds to thousands of virtual classic games available by now. Not dozens.
7. Make short easy to use online "Friend Codes" that are not a long string of numbers.
8. Develop a Gameboy/ Gameboy Advance player for the Wii that would plug into the USB ports.
9. Add Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Sega Game Gear, and NeoGeo : Pocket Color games to the Wii VC.
10. Politely encourage Squaresoft Enix to get off their duff and release their 8-bit and 16-bit library on the Wii VC. I can play Final Fantasy : Origins and Final Fantasy : Anthologies on my PSOne but there are a whole bunch of gamers that would love to get their hands on Chronotrigger and others again. Plus Japan would probably wigg out if they could play the 8-bit and 16-bit Dragonquest games again.
11. Make an Elite Beat Agents game on the Wii. Think about it.

Actually Chrono Trigger is included with Final Fantasy Chronicles on PS1. But there are plenty of old games that should be re-released. When are you gonna come get your package from Santa? It smells like a fame asser in a box...but is it??

The Xbox has the most games out! the PS3 is way to costly for their own good. annd the wii well I got one! I have a friend that's got the Xbox. but their are not really anygames for the wii! that's a bummer ha. I want a real baseball game for the wii.

Actually I have been impressed with how many launch games there has been for the Nintendo Wii. Of all the systems launched in the past ten years they have had one of the best showings in their first month. Sure there needs to be more but so far I have been playing Zelda, Rayman, Metal Slug, Red Steel, VC games and all of my Gamecube games on my Wii.

Hey I am free to run my own damn website and say what I want on it. If you don't like it you are free to print out the pages and shove them right up your ass. Consider it a freedom of the press enema.
I actually loved Transformers when I was a kid and I have serious doubts of any massive Hollywood movie being respectful of the source material.
