Good Reasons to be Happily Single on Valentine's Day
You know there are some really good reasons to be proud to be single on Valentine's Day. Here is what I have come up with.
You can spend your money on video games instead of flowers.
I heard there is pornography on the Internet but I have never really checked it out.
You do not have to watch chick flicks. Unless you are a chick then you can watch nothing but chick flicks if that is your thing.
If you are lonely you can think about adopting a dog or cat from the pound.
You can go the entire weekend without shaving.
You can have steak, beer and Cheetos for dinner and no one will give you flack.
Just think of the money that you save. A candle lit dinner for two and a movie for two can really set you back.
You might have a higher chance of hooking up with another single on Valentine's day so check out the bars.
You can get your romance fix by playing The Sims while eating a microwave chicken pot pie.
Just don't worry about it. IF you worry about it to much you will end up psychotic like that Cathy chick.
I for one do not buy into the whole forced consumerism and yet more commercialization of a holiday. When I was single I refused to feel that I am any less of a worthy person because of it.

Exchange flowers for videogames. I couldn't agree more. Who wouldn't prefer videogames over flowers?
