Gizmo Dilemma

viny lCD boxI broke my digital camera last week when I dropped by bag running to catch the ferry. Kodak is asking $140 to get it fixed and it was only $180 to begin with. They now have a nice looking $150 camera on the market that is more compact and has higher resolution pictures.

Last week I picked up a $50 USB Visioneer Scanner and despite a hard time finding a driver that will work with Windows 2k I am very pleased with it. So now I can scan stuff for this blog.

I know the Gameboy Player for Gamecube will be spiffy but it will not be out until May I am squinting to play GBA games now.

Should I get a replacement camera now or get a Gameboy Advance SP. Gamestop is buying old GBAs for $35 so it should only cost me $65 to upgrade.

Or I can just keep my current GBA and wait and ask for a GBA SP for Christmas or my birthday and then give my GBA to Toys for Tots like I did last year with a Gameboy Color.

They just got these blank CD-Rs in at the mall that look like Vinyl 45 records. Sure they work just like a normal CD-R but they are 45% funkier than a normal disc. Word to your mother.

New Camera. ;o)

Where did you find the information about:
"Gamestop is buying old GBAs for $35"
Ryan

I called them on the phone and asked them.
Here give them a ring.

You rock! I was in the dumps after just getting two GBAs and now wanting the Advance SP

Those CD-Rs are groovy man!

Also, get the new digicam. Keep your eye out at http://hot-deals.org for good deals, they come up pretty often.

Actually, you get a $40 trade if you apply it toward reserving a Game Boy Advance SP, which is probably the easiest way to get one of the new systems, since they aren't planning on a wide release.

But, I am not against the idea of giving the old GBA to an organization such as Toys for Tots. There are always people more in need than ourselves.

And then, there is the thought of a new camera, cameras are essential in life...unless you're me, who forgets to ever actually use them.

WOW! those new CDs are almost as dope as an xbox *bling*
