Gay with Holiday Spirits

I also installed a 5 minute Christmas theme by changing two graphics. CSS layout is so cool all I had to do is tweak one file and it changed the design of over thousand pages. All I need now is some egg nog and shit.

Let's see and I also made some behind the scenes changes to this site. Before I went to Nebraska for thanksgiving I read in the MT support forums on how to have the same number or entries on your main index page. So now There is going to be the same amount of entries on the main index regardless of me posting on the weekend or not posting for a day or two. Also the Recent Posts now starts with the first post that is not being displayed on the main page. That is spiffy.

I figured out what was wrong with my .htaccess file last night and changed it so now my sever will not serve an image unless the page that it is going to be placed in is at 8bitjoystick.com. People can still download my images but to see them online they will have to use their own damn server. This will effectively end all bandwidth image thieves.

I might look into making a Newly Commented on page that would list all the recent comments and links to the post they are from.

Update: Hey check this out.. Recent Comments

Any-who I am really pleased with this site and am proud of what it has evolved into.

And I still need to get some curry.

Looks great Jake!

I had a wonderful curry last week - I thought of you as I enjoyed it. ;o)

Hey neato. Today seems to be the day for Christmas Makeovers. :) I had curry flavored ramen noodles yesterday. You can always try that for a cheap quick fix. But it doesn't have anything on the real deal. I also had curried goat in Jamaica, but that was a bit gamey.

Well I wanted to do some thing that was not that diffrerent from my normal design.

I like it. I think it reminds me (kinda)of how google changes thier logo for the holidays. cool.
