First Impression : Grand Theft Auto : Liberty City Stories for PSP
Today I took a bag of old game controllers that I was not using and traded them in at my local Game Stop and exchanged them in for my reserved copy of Grand Theft Auto : Liberty City Stories for Sony PSP.
Oh man this is the damn best PSP game ever made and it is right up there with all the other GTA games since GTA 3. If you are a PSP owner that is 17 or older with at least 50 bucks in disposable income on hand it is your god given duty to go get this game.
It is set in 1989 in Liberty City so it is after GTA : Vice City and before GTA : San Andreas and GTA 3 but it is set in good old liberty City but with the game play rules and engine of Vice City. There is no music from licensed artists like Vice City and San Andreas so the radio is full of generic music but damn is the game tight.
Imagine if GTA 3 had a bastard love child on the PSP. That bastard love child game could one day rule the world through corrupt back room corporate political deals and be the best damn game on any hand held game system ever.
I'll have a full review later on this week when I have played it more.

l am so pissed off. I want to play this game, but I really can't play this game, because to play the game I have to upgrade to PSP version 2.0, which means I will lose all my emulators.
I say... no way!!

Well Daniel a lot of people like the sarcasm and I try to be less sterile than a typical site.
If you think you can do it better please go out and make a better website than mine. I would love to read it.
alnyden does this game force an upgrade to the version 2.0 firmware? Well I run my emulators on my iBook and I would rather run GTA LCS on my PSP than a NES emulator.

Anyway. I really want to play this game, it looks super cool. Alas I have no PSP. Maybe I can try to borrow one, and sucker the owner into buying this game as well.

GTA has always seemed so vapid to me.
But, then again, I like games other people would probably find vapid too. Like Rez.
