File Swaping tools ruled Legal!

Lars Ulrich is a Corporate Rock WhoreThis just in... I can't think of anything to say right now but. Cool!

Judge: File-swapping tools are legal : Via News.com
A federal judge in Los Angeles has handed a stunning court victory to file-swapping services Streamcast Networks and Grokster, dismissing much of the record industry and movie studios' lawsuit against the two companies.

"Defendants distribute and support software, the users of which can and do choose to employ it for both lawful and unlawful ends," Wilson wrote in his opinion, released Friday. "Grokster and Streamcast are not significantly different from companies that sell home video recorders or copy machines, both of which can be and are used to infringe copyrights."

I wouldn't want to live in a country where I was free to go and buy a shotgun but I had the government and corporations telling me what I can and can not do on my own PC.

Fred Rogers was so cool. Noone can think of anything to bash him with even though he was a Christian minister he was so soft hearted and understanding (true Christian values) that ANYONE would look like a total A-HOLE for even saying one negative thing about him.
Someday the world will build giant statues in his memory and erect a giant MR McFeely building in downtown D.C. to honor that great man....and purveyor of fine coffees.
