Crap I want for Christmas 2005 and Bad Dental Luck 2005
I got back from the dentist today. My teeth are pretty much fine with the exception to a chipped tooth. Last week I chipped a molar on something but I don't remember when. I think it might have been on some popcorn. They are going to have to have a new crown on the top part of the tooth but looks like I will avoid a root canal on that one. The entire thing is probably going to cost me $400 with my insurance estimate so it looks like I am not going to be getting one of those Xbox 360s anytime soon. I have not had any major dental work in over two years. So rather than blowing some disposable income on an Xbox 360 I am getting a crown on a molar. That sucks.
So I put together a list of crap that I want for Christmas. I don't need any of this but it is stuff that I would not mind waking up on Christmas morning and unwrapping.

As an update on the DVR, I am a huge fan and it is officially the best purchase in the world...EVER. I noticed you had blank DVD+Rs on your list. I got a set of five DVD+RWs and they work great for quick archiving and bringing shows to friends to watch. All depends on what your need is I guess.

Jake, do you still offer a mobile version (PDA) of your site? I used to read you via Avantgo, but the last post in that feed is way old (http://www.8bitjoystick.com/pda/).
