Vietnam Pulls TV Screening of 'Apocalypse Now'

Cable television viewers in Vietnam's capital, frustrated by the government's blackout of "Apocalypse Now Redux," can just run out to their local bootleg DVD store and buy a copy of the Vietnam War classic.
"...we cannot relay (the film) when we see scenes of shooting and killing our people in the film," Nguyen Huu Loc, director of the company, said in a statement Tuesday.

If Nguyen Huu Loc doesnt want to watch he can call my dad, who would say something like "you can go to hell you little bastard I have killed ...personally more of you than i can count on two hands". please change the channel. The fact is that the people who died were the same human rights abusing commie bastards who still control your country with the help of the biggest bastard country of ALL.... China. So go screw yourself. Noone gets on a boat to go to Vietnam....or China to escape the U.S. If you dont like our movies, I guess you can go to hell....or sensor them like Wal Mart.
My two cents is that the fact that Apocalypse Now Redux is a popular movie in HoChi Ming City is a sign of who really culturally won the Vietnam War. I mean the North Vietnamese was fighting to prevent Vietnam being financially and culturally dependant on the west. And now Nike is a major employer and Vietnam is growing into cheap manufacturing labor for the west. So who won the war again?
