Chairman Mao's Crazy Commie Web Hosting
I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for my email client and it is pretty good at catching and filtering out Spam but sometimes some get through and I'll take a glance before trashing it. I got this "offer" from a well thought out fraud site that is posing an off shore web hosting company.
I am not writing an HTML link because I don't want to help their Google Rank but the URL is www diskhosting dot com
So I looked up the URL and it is registered to
JIE FANG LU 35
SHANGHAI,SHANGHAI,Australia 524661
Oh man this is rich. I didn't think that the city of Shanghai was in Australia but I digress.
First off their email reads
We offer offshore hosting and servers.If you seek for cheapest reliable bullet proof hosting(Bulk mail friendly hosting),just join us.We guarantee your site will not get shut down by email complaint!
So I thought I would check out their Terms of Service
These rules are in accordance to laws in the hosting country. Our Plans not including :
* Adult and illegal content.
* Mass emailing from the hosting servers
* All outbound emails for marketing must include a working remove/opt-out option
Encrypted broken English and advertising your willingness to break the law with illegal sicko content and Spam is a great way to open up a wallet of a potential "Western Customer" (aka Sucker). The contact info on the site is all free email and IM services.
But I have not gotten to the best part yet check out the prices

Holy crap. Rather than just going with a realistic price they are asking for over then times the price of a legit company. This is like some guy walking up to you with a bag of ice berg lettuce, claiming it was pot and then asking for a million bucks. It is like the Nigerian email scam.
I know this scam is being run on the cheap some place in China but these bastards only need to get one sucker to cover the cost of the scam. Moronic people who would fall for this deserve to be beaten with their own shoes. Actually one of the first posts on this site was about a Chinese Spammer trying to sell me cheap bulk industrial ginger.

The post code is certainly not Australian, we only use four digits in our postcodes.
Oh and don't knock industrial ginger until you have tried it, that stuff cleans like there is no tomorrow.. :)
