Bubba Hotep and Burritos
Yesterday I learned a valuable lesson.
Beware the burritos in Bremerton when you have a ferry to catch. I had planned on getting a burrito and eating it on the ferry over to Seattle and then go see Bubba Hotep with BBQ in the minuscule amount of time that it was playing in Seattle. There was quite a line and I got to the ferry dock as soon as they shut the door and raised the bridge leaving me behind.
Not content in missing the movie I ate my dinner as quick as I can and then I ran to my car. I just paid for the night parking and drove as fast as I legally could around the Puget Sound to pick up BBQ in Seattle.
When we got to the theater it was packed with film fans who wanted to see this movie. The movie distributer is nuts in limiting this kick ass movie to such a paltry release of only fifteen theaters.
BBQ said that he would write a review soon and it is fitting since he actually met Bruce Campbell. It was a damn good movie and they are nuts to not give in a wider release.
It was the best Bruce Campbell movie since Army of Darkness!
